Service Projects

The Kiwanis Club of Phoenixville, 30 members strong and growing.  We also sponsor Kiwanis youth service clubs in the local elementary, middle, and high school schools, totaling over 125 members!  In addition, the club sponsors a special needs adult club called Aktion Club with approximately 20 members.

Serving the children of the world is the Kiwanis International motto. Our local members strive to do this on a community level in Phoenixville.

Reeves Park Playground

Reeves Park All-Abilities Playground

Kiwanis was instrumental in the planning and creation of the all-abilities playground in Reeves Park. 

In 2019, a ribbon cutting celebration was held at the all-abilities playground in Reeves Park in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. This was the culmination of a 2-year long fundraising effort that raised over $510,000 for the construction of this playground as well as handicapped-accessible bathrooms.  This all-inclusive playground is an environment free of restrictions for the area's children and adults.  It includes ramps for wheelchair access and accessibility for individuals with challenges and those with a variety of physical disabilities. The playground ensures inclusion and allows all children to play together, regardless of their abilities.
